Mrs. Salinas, Mrs.Saam, and Ms. MacKay's 3rd grade classes students boldly went where no 3rd grade student had gone before (well, since last year), near and deep space to explore and investigate celestial objects and phenomena.

Students conducted research on their selected space topic using traditional and electronic resources, Space and Astronomy Pathfinder. Students took notes, cited their sources, and created a bibliography to ensure they were giving credit where credit is due. They then put on their movie director and editor hats and using a storyboard laid our their information flow. Finally, they migrated their storyboards into a video presentation using Animoto to highlight their findings and add visuals (Creative Commons and Public Domain licensed imagery).
