Ms. Cynkar's and the teacher-librarian collaborated on a research lesson that introduced students the LMCWiki Pathfinders, specifically the Mesoamerican Pathfinder. Students were assigned a main idea about Aztec, Inca, or Maya civilizations, e.g., Inca farming. Students then used resources on the Mesoamerican Pathfinder to locate juicy facts about this topic. Using a graphic organizer students recorded their juicy facts and also documented the source of their information.

Each student created a Google Presentation slide that synthesized their juicy facts and a relevant image. All the slides were merged into one large presentation demonstrating what Ms. Cynkar's students learned about their Mesoamerican civilizations and their wish to share that knowledge with the world.
